Dash0 acquires Polar Signals

Export TelemetryRelease historyThis feature was introduced by Signal Export on July 31, 2026.

Download explorer results as CSV, text, JSON, or YAML and export larger log and span queries with the CLI.

You can download individual records from the Log Explorer, Trace Explorer, and Web Events Explorer. Each browser export contains up to 5,000 records.

Download records

Set the dataset, time range, and filters to select the records you need. In the explorer's record table, click CSV next to the table settings to download a spreadsheet-ready file. Open the arrow beside CSV to choose another format:

FormatContents
CSVA header and one row per record, using your selected table columns. Navigation-only columns, such as trace-context links, are omitted.
TXTOne text summary per record.
JSONNewline-delimited JSON, saved as .ndjson, with one OpenTelemetry Protocol payload per record. This is not a JSON array.
YAMLOpenTelemetry Protocol payloads separated by --- in a multi-document YAML file.

The download uses the active query, not just the rows you have loaded by scrolling. A focused time range also applies. For spans and web events, a duration selection in the heatmap narrows the exported set too.

Exports use timestamp ordering. If you sort the table by another field, such as duration or severity, the file falls back to newest-first timestamp order. CSV uses your selected columns; the other formats do not depend on the column selection.

The button is available in record-table mode, not in grouped, pattern, or Triage views. If it is absent, return to the individual records view.

Export more than 5,000 records

For logs and spans, open the arrow beside CSV and copy the CLI command shown in the menu. After installing the Dash0 CLI and authenticating, run the copied command and redirect its output to a file.

The generated command includes your query, dataset, time range, and columns. Keep --limit 0 to retrieve all matching records and --precision disabled to avoid sampling. CSV output streams records, so use it for large exports. See the CLI command reference for authentication and query options.

The CLI cannot query web events. To export more web events, split the query into smaller time ranges or narrower filters and download each set separately.
