What Track Adoption Shows

  • Active users, new adopters, and the WAU / MAU ratio, which indicates how sticky usage is.
  • PRs assisted per developer, by team: A view of how much each team gets out of the agent.
  • Active users over time: The adoption trend.
  • Team adoption breakdown: Users and assisted pull requests per team.
  • Usage patterns: A histogram of users by number of prompts, from light users to power users.
  • Top users: The most active developers, with prompts, pull requests, and cost.

This tab answers whether adoption is broad or concentrated, and whether new developers are picking agents up. A high concentration ratio, where a small share of developers generates most of the sessions, points to where the patterns worth spreading already live.

How to Use Track Adoption

Track adoption momentum. The active users over time chart shows whether usage is growing, stable, or declining. Steady growth indicates successful rollout, while plateaus may signal that adoption has reached early adopters and needs a push to cross into the mainstream.

Identify power users. The top users table and usage patterns histogram show who uses AI coding most heavily. These developers often have effective patterns worth documenting and spreading to the rest of the team.

Find teams that could benefit. The team adoption breakdown shows which teams have embraced AI coding and which have low usage. Teams with low adoption may need training, clearer use cases, or examples from successful colleagues.

Monitor stickiness. The WAU / MAU ratio shows how many weekly active users return month over month. A high ratio indicates that developers who try AI coding stick with it. A low ratio suggests that initial adoption doesn't translate to sustained usage.
