Julia Furst Morgado

Julia Furst Morgado is Principal Developer Relations Engineer at Dash0, where she drives developer adoption of OpenTelemetry and observability practices through technical content, community engagement, and educational initiatives. Her work centers on making observability accessible and practical for developers and teams navigating the cloud-native landscape, with a particular focus on learning in public and building inclusive technical communities. An active contributor to the OpenTelemetry project, Julia is committed to helping developers understand and adopt observability as a foundational practice in modern software delivery.

Julia is a CNCF Ambassador, AWS Container Hero, Docker Captain, Google Women Techmakers Ambassador, and Merge Forward Ambassador, with a deep commitment to community building and inclusive leadership. She co-organizes the Kubernetes Community Days New York, AWS Community Day New York, and Cloud Native NYC meetup, creating spaces where technologists can connect, learn, and grow together. Her background—which includes law, business studies at UC Berkeley, and marketing—informs her unique ability to bridge technical depth with clear, people-centered communication.
