Control Dashboard Sharing and Access
Dashboard sharing is managed through a resource-based access control mechanism. You can assign granular permissions to specific dashboards for individual users, roles, or teams.
Understand Permission Levels
| Permission | Description |
|---|---|
| Edit | Full read and write access, including the ability to modify panels, queries, and settings. |
| Read-Only | View access only. The user can see the dashboard but cannot make changes. |
Share a Dashboard
- Open the sharing controls from the dashboard toolbar.
- Add users, roles, or teams.
- Assign the appropriate permission level.
Shared dashboards display a sharing indicator in the dashboard list.
