Mattermost

Overview

Use the Dash0 Mattermost integration to receive notifications directly within a Mattermost channel when your alerts are firing. Dash0 posts through a Mattermost incoming webhook.

Details Required

Type	Description
Name	Specify the name for this notification channel.
URL	Provide the Mattermost incoming webhook URL. See Create an Incoming Webhook in Mattermost below.
Channel	Optional. Override the target: a channel name like town-square or a direct message like @username. Leave it empty to post to the webhook's default channel.

Setup

Create an Incoming Webhook in Mattermost

1. Make sure incoming webhooks are enabled. In the System Console, go to Integrations → Integration Management and set Enable Incoming Webhooks to true.
2. In your team, open the Main Menu and go to Integrations → Incoming Webhooks.
3. Click Add Incoming Webhook, give it a title like Dash0 Notifications, choose a default channel, and click Save.
4. Copy the webhook URL and use it in the Dash0 Notification Channel configuration for the field URL.
