The retention class selected for a signal, per dataset. The value is the total retention in days, not an increase on top of a baseline. Customer-selectable signals (logs, spans, web events) expose the full set; non-selectable signals (metrics, profiling) keep their platform defaults.

• 30dCopy: 30 days total (the included baseline).
• 60dCopy: 60 days total.
• 90dCopy: 90 days total.

When enabled, span events are automatically converted to log records correlated with the parent span via traceId and spanId. This supports the migration away from the deprecated Span Event API towards the unified OTel event model where events are log records with names. Converted log records are tagged with the dash0.span_event.convertedCopy attribute.
