Setup

Setup

Install the Dash0 app in your Slack workspace

  1. Go to your Organization settings and select Notification Channels (1). Select New notification channel (2) and Slack bot (3). summary

  2. Fill out the notification channel name, slack channel and click the connect your Slack Team-button (4).

    If you want to receive notifications in a private channel, you need to invite the Dash0 bot to that channel (/invite @Dash0).

  3. A new popup is opened and you should see the OAuth permissions dialog. Confirm the access by clicking Allow (5). summary

  4. You should see the success screen and the popup should close automatically. summary

  5. You see the information that the Slack workspace is connected and you should send a test notification (6) to verify your setup and save the changes (7). summary

  6. In the configured Slack channel you should receive a test notification (8). summary
