Install Cost Forecast Dashboards

The Dash0 Cost Forecast integration provides pre-built dashboards for estimating your observability spend based on historical ingestion data.

Installing these dashboards gives you immediate visibility into telemetry costs across spans, logs, and metrics — broken down by service, namespace, or resource type — so you can identify cost drivers and make informed budgeting decisions.

Dashboards

The integration includes two dashboards:

Dash0 - Cost Estimate estimates your Dash0 cost based on past reference frames, letting you compare different time windows to extrapolate future spend.

Dash0 - Telemetry Insights shows which services are generating the most telemetry, helping you identify the biggest contributors to your bill.

Installing the dashboards

1. Navigate to Integrations > Dash0 Cost Forecast in your organization. More here...

2. Click Install all dashboards to add both dashboards to your dataset at once.

   

   Alternatively, click Add dashboard under an individual dashboard to install it separately.

   

Once installed, the dashboards are available in your Dash0 dashboard catalog and update automatically as new telemetry is ingested.
